This delightful apartment of the 40s has a great view to the sea, ideally located on the famous seafront El Malecon, which offers stunning views from the Habana Bay, within walking distance of downtown.

Its stairway has been untouched since its installation, and where an elevator used to be, there are now just the ruins of it, that make perfect contrast with the renovated yet authentic interior of the apartment, its brand new air conditioners, and restored original furniture.

Only 20 minutes walk from the old district Habana Vieja, which combines historical heritage with the charm and glamour of its streets and the joy of its neighbours. Also very close is another district, El Vedado, that it’s known for the art deco style buildings and its vibrant nightlife, full of bars, clubs, cabarets, and restaurants of international renown. The beaches are just 20 minutes by car to the east of the city.

The decoration of the house includes, among other things, some early 20th century Cuban furniture and huge mirrors from the 40s, combined with a modern kitchen totally accessible.

The fact that most of the furniture is from the 1940s-50s gives the apartment a very special vibe. As with many other places in the Havana the visitor is transported back in time and can, at least to a certain extent, experience how it was to live during a different era.

The 125 m2 apartment is distributed as follows: the entrance, a big living-dining room where the guests can have breakfasts or even dinners with views to the sea; a well equipped kitchen to prepare the meals by the staff or the clients, as they prefer. Three rooms on the left side of the house. One of them with view to the sea. All rooms are doubles. They are comfortable, two rooms are provided with air conditioner, wardrobe, towels, bedding and their own private bathroom.

Change of sheets and towels every three other day or convenience of tenants

During the day owners and house staff are at your disposal for any request or provide information about your stay.

Independence and privacy are of course guaranteed.

MALECON:

Main Havana avenue, very conveniently located for visiting all major sights.

Everyone who loves walking outdoors enjoying a wonderful view of the Caribbean sea, felling the “cuban way of live, will love walking by the Malecon.

Public transport in the area is very easy to use as San Lazaro street and Malecon, where the apartment is located, are among the most important roads in the city. For instance, the well-known Castillo del Morro is part of the astonishing view from the living room.

By car it takes 5 minutes to visit Old Havana, but you can reach the same destination in a 20-minute walk. The world famous Almendrones (old American cars that owed their nicknames to their shape like almonds) can take you everywhere in the city from Malecon or San Lazaro street.
