With rooms dedicated to different styles of art, we wanted to pay homage to Cuban culture and its creators, many of whom are recognized throughout the world. Cuban life is celebrated in our lovely salons with a vibrant agenda of concerts and exhibitions.

The Hotel located in a recently renovated mansion from 1919 with every comfort and convenience of a small boutique hotel that’s both modern and traditional, elegant and relaxed. A unique space for the most discerning customer. Located in a quiet street in the popular neighborhood El Vedado. An oasis surrounded by theaters, restaurants, hotels, and cafes, only a few blocks from El Malecon. Habana Vieja (Old Town) is a 10 min drive.

Room  CINE is inspired by Cuban cinema and its creators

Cuban cinema has experienced a major boom since 1959, with the triumph of the Cuban Revolution. From that moment onwards, the directors, producers, screenwriters and actors were committed to the task of narrating the historical events in which they were immersed. The International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños was created shortly after in Cuba, which immediately positioned itself as one of the most important sources for creative cinematographers throughout Latin America and the Third World. This room pays homage to the creators and technicians who built Cuban cinema, represented in the portraits of director Fernando Perez and actress Mirta Ibarra. There is also a selection of original screen printed Cuban cinema posters.

Room POESIA Suite –  (Poetry)

The large Suite-POESIA is specially dedicated to literature, especially to Cuban poetry, personified in this case in Carilda Oliver, a poetess from the city of Matanzas who carries her verses of an enormous erotic force and a clear Cuban. Free and deeply Cuban woman, Carilda Oliver is a clear icon of Cuban literature of all time. A room has been designed to offer a spacious, bright and fresh space, with a large dressing room. A room full of a flirtatious, delicate and sensual spirit.

Room Pintores

The Painter’s room is specifically dedicated to the visual arts. Universal names like Cervando Cabrera or Wifredo Lam are part of the history of Cuban visual art. Nowadays the visual arts stand out as one of the most lively forms of expression on the island, giving voice to the collective of artists who have so much to express in their various disciplines. The Havana ‘Biennial’ of Contemporary Art is held in Havana, which provokes high levels of expectation among the connoisseurs and visitors to the Island. This is a spacious room alive with the magic of Caribbean colors and creativity. The portraits of Alfredo Sosabravo, Flora Fong and Zaida del Rio give this space an atmosphere that invites creativity.

Room Musica

The design of the room MUSICA  is especially inspired by Cuban music. Cuba expresses itself through its music that is known worldwide. Who does not know at least a Cuban song or a piece of some melody? Originally a fusion between the Spanish and the African, Cuban music eventually developed its own unique and outstanding form, creating part of our universal musical treasures. Havana is a bustling musical city, Cubans sing, play percussion and dance as an inseparable part of daily life. Major figures of Cuban music are part of the universal musical universe, such as the pianist Chucho Valdés and the singer Omara Portuondo, who have so often shared the same stage. A special room, designed for bohemians and fans of Cuban music, for romantics who love the bolero or for those who just appreciate the joy and sensuality of the Cuban sound.

Room Danza

Room DANZA is dedicated to the dance in Cuba. Dance is one of the most sophisticated arts in Cuba. Alicia Alonso of  the National Ballet of Cuba,  created the National Ballet School and is now training famous international artists.The  room DANZA has been carefully designed for lovers of this art and with portraits of Viengsay Valdés (First Ballerina of the National Ballet of Cuba) and Lizt Alfonso plus original portraits from the book  “Cuba Illuminated” (Project, by Héctor Garrido ).
